1、leave是一個有多重意思的英文詞,可以與多個詞搭配成為片語。

（1）作留下、丟下、落下,常表示某物落在/忘在某地。

（2）表示留給、交給,一般與介詞with或to搭配。
例如：He has left a number of books with / to me.
他把好些書都存在我這兒/留給了我。
（3） leave作使役動詞,表示使/ 讓……保持某種狀態。
例如：Leave the door open when you go out.
出去時，不要關門。
（4） leave還可作名詞,表示休假、假期。
例如：I have 3 weeks'leave.
