認知治療是20世紀60~70年代在美國迅速發展起來的一種心理諮詢與治療的理論和方法。
認知治療的基本假設是人的認知過程影響情感和行為，因此通過認知和行為技術改變來訪者不良的認知，可改善情緒和行為問題。
認知理論認為人類的各種心理過程都是在意識的參與下完成的，從而形成對現實世界的認識、解釋和評價，認知直接決定人的情緒和行為。
認知療法的基本觀點：認識過程是個體情感和行為的中介，適應不良的情感和行為與適應不良的認知有關。認識治療特別注重改變不良的認知，即不合理的歪曲的、消極的信念和想法，認為不良的認知是引發自我挫敗行為的根本原因，通過改變人的認知過程以及在這一過程中產生的認識觀念，可以改變情緒和行為。

international journal of system control and information processing指的是：國際系統控制與信息處理雜誌，屬於EI檢索。
EI (工程索引)是全球範圍內的一個數據庫，類似中國的知網。 但是EI可不是什麼文章都錄入的，被錄入的文章都代表着權威與高質量。所以EI被稱為全球核心，被每個國家認可。
EI主要收錄工程技術領域的重要文獻，包括期刊以及會議文獻，另外也收錄一些科技報告、專著等。EI收錄包括三種類型：被EI核心收錄、非核心收錄（Pageone收錄）、會議論文。 從2009年起已經沒有核心檢索和非核心檢索的區別，現在全是核心檢索。但是還分為期刊檢索和會議檢索。也就是源刊JA類型，會議CA類型。在職稱評審和校科技部每年獎勵中，只認可被EI核心收錄的文章（EI光盤版）。
《工程索引》出版形式有印刷版（期刊形式）、電子版（磁帶）及縮微膠片。EI選用世界上工程技術類幾十個國家和地區15個語種的3500餘種期刊和1000餘種會議錄、科技報告、標準、圖書等出版物。年報道文獻量16萬餘條。 Ei Compendex是全世界最早的工程文摘來源。Ei Compendex數據庫每年新增的50萬條文摘索引信息分別來自5100種工程期刊、會議文集和技術報告。Ei Compendex收錄的文獻涵蓋了所有的工程領域，其中大約22%為會議文獻，90%的文獻語種是英文。
