英語日記主要由三個部分構成。用英文首先敍述關於想要記錄的所見所聞（包括記錄的對象、時間、地點），然後就想要記錄的印象深刻的事情用英文進行簡單描述（包括但不限於事情、人物、物品等）。最後用英文一句話總結今天的新收穫或者新的感悟。
